Our Armco-style steel barrier systems are designed for use in car parks, warehouses, loading areas, service yards and industrial sites, helping to separate vehicles from buildings, equipment, pedestrian areas and other vulnerable parts of a site.
Available as a modular system of galvanised steel beams, posts, corners, safety ends and fixings, the barrier can be configured to suit a wide range of private and commercial site layouts.

These Armco-style barriers are not crash tested or crash rated and are not supplied as a vehicle restraint system for use on public highways.

“Armco crash barrier” is a commonly used term for a modular corrugated steel barrier system used around car parks, warehouses, loading areas, service yards and industrial premises.
The system consists of corrugated steel beams mounted onto steel posts. Individual beams overlap and are connected using fixings to create the required barrier run.
Depending on the layout, the system can incorporate corners and different end treatments to suit the installation.
Although these products are commonly referred to as Armco crash barriers, the systems supplied by Aremco are not crash tested or crash rated.

Armco barrier installation can be arranged if required.
Installation is carried out through our independent installer, with availability depending on the site location, layout and installation requirements.
If you would like installation included within your quotation, please provide as much information as possible about the proposed barrier layout and site conditions when contacting us.
Alternatively, barriers can be supplied for installation by your own contractor or site team.
Due to the length and weight of Armco beams, customers must ensure that suitable offloading facilities and/or sufficient personnel are available when the delivery arrives.
Armco beams cannot normally be offloaded using a standard tail-lift due to their dimensions.
Depending on the order, suitable mechanical offloading equipment or sufficient personnel may therefore be required on site.
If you anticipate any difficulty with offloading, please contact us before delivery is arranged so that we can discuss the available options.
Failure to provide suitable offloading arrangements may result in the delivery being unsuccessful and an additional re-delivery charge being incurred.
Some remote postcodes and locations may also incur additional carriage charges.
