The project required a made-to-measure 5.2 metre dual swing gate complete with mesh infill panels, heavy-duty hanging posts and an additional stabilising latch post to provide exceptional strength and long-term durability.
Manufactured entirely in-house at our West Midlands facility and hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, the completed installation now provides secure and reliable access whilst helping to prevent unwanted animal access and withstand the demanding conditions associated with rural environments.
The customer approached Aremco Barriers after struggling to find a manufacturer willing to produce a gate suitable for their requirements. The entrance width exceeded that of many standard agricultural gates and required additional support to ensure long-term stability, particularly during adverse weather conditions.
The gate also needed to provide effective animal control whilst remaining simple and practical for everyday use. Given the exposed nature of many agricultural environments, corrosion resistance and structural durability were also important considerations.
An off-the-shelf solution simply wasn't available. The customer required a bespoke gate manufactured specifically to suit the site rather than attempting to modify the site to suit a standard product.
Following discussions regarding the customer's requirements, our fabrication team designed and manufactured a bespoke pair of dual swing agricultural gates complete with welded mesh infill panels, heavy-duty hanging posts and an additional latch post incorporating a steadying bar for increased stability.
Every component was manufactured from heavy-duty steel before being hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 to provide long-term corrosion protection against the demanding conditions commonly experienced within agricultural and rural environments.
By manufacturing the entire system in-house, we were able to tailor every aspect of the design to suit the customer's exact measurements whilst ensuring the completed installation remained both practical and highly durable.
