Sulzer got in touch with us in 2021 after experiencing ongoing issues with vehicles over a certain height entering and parking in their car park. This was causing safety concerns and blocking access for staff and authorised vehicles. They requested a site visit so we could assess the layout and find the most practical solution.
Following our visit, we recommended a manual swing height restriction barrier – a strong, low-maintenance deterrent that allows easy control of vehicle access while maintaining clear pedestrian access.

Sulzer were pleased with both the installation and the immediate improvement to their car park access control. The barrier has successfully prevented over-height vehicles from entering the site ever since installation.
Only once since 2021 have we needed to return to site — to replace the top rail following a vehicle impact.
No further issues have been reported, and the barrier is still performing as intended.
