This speed bump section is 500mm wide. When the end caps are brought separately and adjoin these sections they make fully functioning speed bumps.
These tough sections are made from 50mm high recycled thermoplastic with a chequered pattern to give extra grip. Making them ideal for placing near schools, residential areas, or car parks where traffic needs to be slowed down for everyone's safety.
Conformity: Conforms to the requirements of BSEN13422. Production is carried out in accordance with ISO 90001:2015 Quality System.

Speed Bump End Caps
The speed bump end caps are sold in pairs and are placed at either end of the speed bump sections to leave a smooth finish and form a fully functioning speed bump. They are made from 50mm high recycled thermoplastic, which is very tough with enhanced grip from the chequered pattern design.
By smoothing out the edges of the speed bumps, the end caps prevent tyres from tearing apart when they hit sharp edges. Once the speed bump is fully formed it can calm traffic; important in areas such as schools where vulernerable pedestrians would benefit from slow trafffic.
Instructions: The product meets all the requirements as laid out and used to the requirements of The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002 and The Safety at Street Works and Road Works. Maximum weight capacity is 40,000Kgs

INSTALLATION:
The speed bump sections have bolt down oles in them for the use of coach bolts, making installation very quik and easy into concrete or tarmac. Suitable fixings can be bought seperately, a set containing 8 fixings is needed per meter of section. The end caps can be bolted down into concrete or tarmac with coach bolts.
