Our fixed height restriction barrier effectively limits the size of vehicles, such as lorries and heavy-duty trucks, entering designated areas like car parks. Constructed from robust square hollow section steel, this barrier is designed for durability and reliability.
The unit is supplied in three sections for ease of transport and assembly: two vertical posts and one crossbeam. Assembly is straightforward and can be completed on-site using the included bolts to secure the joints. This barrier not only ensures controlled access to your area but also enhances safety and traffic management by preventing oversized vehicles from causing potential damage or congestion.
Standard Height of Barrier from below crossbeam to ground level is 2.1M.
Width of barrier is calculated from inside of leg to inside of leg.

What is a Height Restrictor Barrier?
A height restrictor, height barrier, or height restriction barrier is a horizontal barrier mounted at the maximum allowed height, preventing taller vehicles from crossing. It is an artificial barrier. It may be placed some distance before something more substantial that imposes this limit (such as a roof), or may be used to enforce legal vehicle restrictions. Height restrictors can be found in front of underpasses, covered bridges, drive-throughs with overhanging roofs, parking garage entrances, and over-ground parking lots. The maximum height is usually posted either on the barrier itself or on a nearby sign.
* This RA1 sign utilises retro-reflective materials that have the ability to reflect a significant proportion of emitted light back towards the light's point of origin. This means that this sign is particularly visible at night when illuminated by the light from a vehicle's headlamps.
