The Park-It Wheel Stop is an effective method of preventing parking overruns. Manufactured from highly compressed recycled rubber they are extremely durable (able to withstand wear, pressure, or damage; hard-wearing). With reflective markings on all sides, they are highly visible from all angles, additionally Park-It Wheel Stops are oil, temperature and UV resistant.

These wheel stops are adaptable to meet many requirements, among them being car-parks, glass fronted buildings, showrooms, they can also be used to separate traffic routes e.g. bicycle and pedestrian paths, vehicular traffic and pedestrian routes etc.

Wheel stops exist to prevent collisions between vehicles and other objects in parking lots.  Their primary function is to act as a barrier between two separated vehicles or vehicles and walls.

Pedestrian and vehicular safety is enhanced by the use of wheel stops.  These devices allow drivers to park in the proper direction and in the appropriate space.  Additionally, they contribute to maintaining an appropriate distance between vehicles parked in adjacent lanes.

ADVANTAGES

The installation of wheel stops will protect the vehicles parked in your parking spaces.  If drivers are aware of how far they can park, they do not go beyond that limit, which helps prevent numerous collisions.

Furthermore, parking stops also manage self-parking structures by providing guidance to drivers on where to park their vehicles.

By ensuring that pedestrians have sufficient space to walk, they ensure event parking and visitor parking spots are pedestrian friendly.

In situations where a barrier is ahead of the car, which prevents it from moving forward, cars do not hit walls and kerbs.  Private property remains intact and undamaged.

DISADVANTAGES

When not equipped with reflective tape or stripes, wheel stops can be difficult to see at night.  Consequently, drivers may mistakenly run over them and damage their vehicles.

Additionally, they pose a tripping hazard to pedestrians when installed near walking paths.

When you recognize the benefits of wheel stops, you can use these traffic calming methods to enhance the safety of your individual parking space, metered parking facilities, airport parking lots, car parking spaces, parallel parking lots, and free parking lots.

It is important to note that disabled parking spaces have different requirements from forklift parking areas.

UV resistance is defined as the ability of a material to resist ultra violet (UV) light or sunlight. UV light, or sunlight, will cause non-resistant materials and surfaces to fade or discolor.

Oil resistance is a special case of fluid resistance. Broadly defined, oil resistance is the ability of a rubber product to perform its intended function while in contact with oil. The so-called oil-resistant elastomers absorb some oil, especially at elevated temperature, but only a limited amount.

Heat Resistant able to resist great heat; heatproof.0
